Its like a bad penny

For some reason the fairness doctrine just won’t die. I am not even going to bother with addressing everything that is wrong with their concept of fairness. Besides, the Culture and Media Institute has already done all the work for me.

I will say that one of the major forces behind the fall of old media and the rise of internet content is that the web is so unregulated. Barring the occasional copyright infringement (which is nonsense), the internet takes all comers and everyone can have a voice. I just hope that enough people aren’t stupid enough to buy into this perversion of fairness.
